THE PIT CHIC believes it’s never too late to learn new techniques. We offer personalized, in-home dog training services designed after a thorough evaluation of both you and your dog. Every client receives a customized training plan tailored to their dog’s unique needs, lifestyle, and behavior. We focus on working just as much with owners as we do with their dogs to achieve realistic, long-term results.

The Pit Chic takes pride in her open-minded training philosophy, understanding that dog training is never a one-size-fits-all approach. We work with all breeds, ages, and behavior challenges using proven methods.

Obedience training and behavior modification serve different purposes...

​

Obedience training focuses on teaching foundational commands such as sit, stay, leash manners, recall, and impulse control.

 

Behavior modification is a more in-depth consulting process that works closely with owners to address reactivity, anxiety, aggression, fear, and other behavioral concerns.

 

This approach emphasizes education, management strategies, and real-life application so owners feel confident handling situations long after training ends.

Our goal is to provide clients with lifelong skills by strengthening the bond between dog and owner through expert training and behavior recognition. Every dog trained by The Pit Chic is treated like one of our own beloved family members.

THE PIT CHIC brings over a decade of professional veterinary experience and more than 20 years of hands-on work in dog training, veterinary medicine, shelters, and rescue. We use a variety of science-based and balanced training methods because what works for one dog may not work for another.
